B) All data on the ssd drive will be fully erased. Please back up data on the
drive before beginning upgrade.
C) The F/W upgrade program requires creating and booting into a bootable USB
flash drive. All data on the USB Flash drive will also be fully erased. Please
back up data on the USB drive and the Torqx TRB drive.
D) Enabling USB boot may be required in some bios’ beforehand. Please consult
the motherboard manual for more information in regards to this.
E) This firmware upgrade will only work if the existing version is 100730. This will
NOT work if the existing firmware version is 101202 or any other version.
Firmware Update Procedure:
STEP 1 - Create Bootable USB Flash Drive
a) Insert a USB flash drive to any USB Port on the back of the
motherboard.
b) If necessary, backup data before creating the USB bootable drive.
c) In “My Computer” right click on the USB drive and select “Format.”
d) Select “FAT 32” and “Quick format” then hit “Start.” - IMPORTANT
